Powder Pink

Preparation:

• Piece requires light sanding if the original finish is high gloss, oiled or has a slick surface.  If you prefer not to sand apply New Surface for best results.   If the piece is raw wood One Step can be applied without any prep.
• Clean piece with soap and water and let dry.
• Can be applied to most surfaces .

Application:

1. Apply 1 to 3 even coats (Red & Pink may take a few more applications).
2. VERY IMPORTANT! Let the paint dry 4-6 hours between coats.
3. Following the grain of the wood, use consistent brush strokes from one end to the other.
4. Clean any drips from edges.
5. To ensure a smooth finish, ensure nothing rubs against or scratches the paint for 20 days for a full cure.

Finishing:

• If choosing to distress you can ONLY dry sand.
• Glazes can be applied before or after distressing if desired.

Clean up:

• Water based soap and water clean up.

• Our Restore Synthetic Brushes are best for One Step.
• If you are looking for a vintage look with brush strokes use a synthetic brush or chip style brush.
• If you want a clean looking finish use a natural bristle brush, roller or chalk sprayer.

Additional Information:

• For use on high traffic areas such as front doors, kitchen cupboards, or tables finish with Liquid Wax.
